Can you introduce THE RECRUITER? THE RECRUITER is a recruitment and HR consulting firm founded in October 2013. Our 4 service lines — Executive Search & Recruitment, In-House services, Assessment & Outplacement and Background checks — are aimed at the Information Technology and Digital sectors, the Services industry, Industry in the broad sense and the semi-public sector.
We operate on the basis of essentially exclusive mandates via proactive recruitment techniques: direct approach, advertisements, referencing, database. Our method is extremely personalized and centered on the expectations of the parties involved. We are convinced that questions relating to professional careers must be treated with finesse and precision.
What qualities are necessary to practice your profession? In-depth knowledge of the professions and the sector of our clients is crucial. Communication and listening qualities are also necessary so that the recruiter and their client are fully in phase. Finally, ethics, professionalism, alertness and curiosity of mind as well as the ability to understand the inexpressible are imperative qualities.
How would you analyze the current job market? Contrast has characterized the job market for many years. It is a market that simultaneously involves highly specialized profiles, alongside profiles that have more difficulty finding their place. The notion of « employer brand » takes on even more importance in a small market such as ours.
What are the most sought-after profiles? IT infrastructure architects, IT security specialists, front-end and back-end developers, salespeople in the IT and digital sector, pre-sales consultants, trilingual profiles (F, G, E) in general, and especially the new digital professions: digital product manager, online marketing manager, SEO, Content Management Specialist.
How to find the right person quickly? The speed of recruitment lies primarily in the use of good search tools with a proactive and structured approach. The recruiter and their client are the conductors of a paced and dynamic recruitment process. A recruitment spans a period from 1 to 3 or 4 months for certain particular profiles.
How do you use social media? Professional social networks have taken an unavoidable place. They are becoming a showcase allowing employers to do « employer branding ». Pragmatically, however, it is impossible to be content only with these tools. The proactive role of the recruiter remains decisive.
