2014 - A year of success for The Recruiter
The first anniversary was celebrated with clients, candidates, partners, and LinkedIn followers.
During the first year, numerous mandates were successfully completed on behalf of Luxembourgish and international companies, with a focus on the recruitment of project managers, commercial and IT directors, software engineers, IT infrastructure architects, digital marketing specialists, and web developers.
2015 - Acquisition of Doctor Chexs
Through the acquisition of Doctor Chexs, the leading professional reference-checking company in Luxembourg, established in 2007, The Recruiter strengthens and expands its HR service offering.
Doctor Chexs operates with a distinct objective: providing specialised reference-checking services for employers managing their own recruitment processes, with intervention at the final stage of hiring.
This approach ensures the verification of candidates' professional backgrounds and the authenticity of their CVs, offering employers enhanced security in their decision-making.
Beyond the verification of academic qualifications, highly valued by employers, the validation of professional experience, supported by feedback from former direct managers, provides a more comprehensive and reliable understanding of each candidate's profile.
2018 - Rebranding of Doctor Chexs
In 2018, Doctor Chexs was rebranded as Background Check, reflecting its commitment to delivering comprehensive and reliable background verification services.
This new identity was adopted to strengthen visibility and reinforce its dedication to rigorous, ethical screening processes.
Background Check continues to focus on providing high-quality background verification solutions, aligned with the evolving needs of organisations seeking to ensure the integrity and reliability of their candidates.
2020 - Launch of the HR Advisory practice
The Recruiter has expanded its activities through the diversification of its HR consulting services.
The company supports its clients in developing their teams through a comprehensive range of solutions, including Assessment & Development Center, Outplacement and career transition support, internal HR projects, as well as Coaching and mentoring programmes.
The relevance of its Assessment Centre programmes, the growing trust placed in its internal HR assignments, and the success of tailor-made initiatives, such as sector-specific salary surveys, the implementation of evaluation frameworks, HR audits, and change management projects, have all contributed to the successful development of its HR Advisory offering.
2023 - The Recruiter turns 10
In December 2023, The Recruiter celebrated 10 years of HR expertise.
To mark this milestone, the conference "Motivation and Performance" was hosted by triple world champion and Olympic gold medallist Edgar Grospiron.

2024 - The Recruiter expands into France
The Recruiter extends its activities in France through the acquisition of Tomorrow Jobs, a recruitment firm based in Nancy and Saint-Nazaire.
Specialising in high-demand sectors such as IT, engineering, sales, and digital marketing, Tomorrow Jobs has established a strong reputation since its creation in 2016.
