Airline Security Quality Control Specialist (m/f)

Our client is a well-established Airline company based in Luxembourg, known for its international working environment and multicultural teams. We are pleased to be recruiting an Airline Security Quality Control Specialist who supports the airline's compliance with aviation security regulations and quality standards.

It is well suited to professionals who enjoy analysing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, working with detailed regulatory requirements and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to strengthen aviation security.

Reporting to the Head of Airline Security, the role offers the opportunity to work in a highly regulated international environment, combining regulatory compliance, quality control and continuous improvement, meaning:

• Support and promote compliance with applicable ICAO, EU and national aviation security regulations, as well as internal security policies and procedures.
• Perform quality control activities, compliance monitoring, inspections and operational assessments to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Lead a small team and manage a budget planning for dedicated activities.
• Analyse findings and support the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Support the development, review and continuous improvement of aviation security manuals, procedures, checklists and related documentation.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation of new tools, systems and process enhancements.
• Prepare reports, analyses and performance indicators to support management decision-making and regulatory oversight.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams, authorities and service providers to promote the consistent application of security requirements and best practices.
• Support budget planning for dedicated security quality control activities.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise within the team and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Perform all duties in accordance with applicable safety, security and regulatory requirements, as well as established company procedures.

• Bachelor's degree (BAC+3 or higher) in Aviation, Security, Quality Management, Risk Management or a related field.
• Professional experience in aviation, ideally within an airline, airport, ground handling organisation or another regulated environment.
• Experience in quality assurance, compliance monitoring, auditing or aviation security is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with ICAO standards and the EU aviation security framework is desirable.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret regulations, analyse data and prepare clear reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of French, German or any additional language is an asset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
