Network Administrator (m/f)

Our client is a major actor in international tourism. As a Network Administrator, you’ll be part of a team of 15 infrastructure specialists supporting a company with over 2,000 employees. Your work will directly impact network reliability and security across international operations from day-to-day connectivity to large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Design, deploy, and optimise enterprise network and security infrastructures used by 2,000+ employees worldwide.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services across data centres, offices, and cloud environments.
• Lead incident resolution from Level 1 to Level 3, minimising downtime and improving service quality.
• Drive the implementation of infrastructure projects (including upgrading core routing with BGP and enhancing firewall architecture using Palo Alto and Check Point).
• Monitor network performance and proactively implement optimisations based on data insights.
• Collaborate closely with IT and security teams to deliver secure, scalable connectivity solutions across departments.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

• At least 5 years of experience in network administration or engineering within enterprise environments (what matters most is your ability to deliver results, not just the number of years)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related field. 
• Proven expertise in network architecture, including routing, switching, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with key technologies such as:
  • TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, and enterprise Wi-Fi
  • Cisco Catalyst switches and switching configurations
  • BGP and other routing protocols
  • Firewalls: Cisco ASA, Check Point, Palo Alto
  • Load balancing with F5
  • VPN, DMZ, and Web Application Firewalls
  • DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, PKI, and authentication systems
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) is a strong plus.
• Fluency in English. French or German language skills are an asset.
• You’re independent, curious, and enjoy solving complex technical challenges in a collaborative environment.
• Open to on-call duties (one week per month at most) and business travel when needed.
