Business Analyst (m/f)

Our client is a well-established and prestigious public financial institution, with nearly 1,000 employees. Having experienced significant growth in recent years, the institution continues to expand its activities.

The Information Technology Department comprises approximately 100 employees, including several Business Analysis and Testing teams involved in the design and deployment of business applications. In this context, and to support its growing activities, our client is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join its team.

• You will contribute to the definition, consistency and evolution of functional solutions developed in close collaboration with business teams, covering applications for both internal and external users.
• You will coordinate and provide functional oversight of projects, ensuring that objectives, timelines and quality requirements are met.
• You will design and model the functional architecture of applications and ensure their consistency with the overall Information Systems architecture.
• You will analyse business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend enhancements to processes, functional solutions and information systems.
• You will design and assess different functional and software architecture options in collaboration with development teams, IT experts and business stakeholders.
• You will actively contribute to the definition and implementation of the division’s strategy and provide expert input to Management within your area of responsibility.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, methodologies and practices within the IT Department and ensure compliance with applicable operational procedures.
• You will contribute to the management of operational risks and help ensure the continuity and quality of activities within your area of responsibility.

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• You have ideally 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Solution Architect or in a similar role.
• You have a strong ability to analyse, formalise and translate business requirements into relevant and sustainable functional and technical solutions.
• You are comfortable working with Agile development teams and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders at different levels of the organization
• Strong knowledge of application development and software architecture concepts would be a significant asset for this position.
• A good understanding of business challenges and financial-sector matters would also be considered a strong asset.
• You have good knowledge of SQL and are able to interact effectively with technical teams on topics relating to data, applications and information systems.
• You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate effectively with both IT and business stakeholders.
• You have strong analytical, organisational and synthesis skills, combined with a structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
• You are solution-oriented, autonomous and can operate effectively in a demanding, multidisciplinary and constantly evolving environment.
