Our client is a European investment management company with more than €500 million in AUM with a stable base of institutional, family office, and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
The organisation offers a genuine entrepreneurial environment where employees are given significant responsibility and visibility. Within a lean and experienced team, we are looking for a Financial Controller who will report directly to the COO.
Vos missions
Working closely with the COO, external service providers and management, you will play a central role across fund operations, finance and process improvement activities.
1. Middle Office Operations
-
- Monitor daily fund operations across UCITS, AIF and life insurance structures.
- Investigate operational breaks and discrepancies across administrators, custodians and internal systems.
- Perform cash, position and transaction reconciliations.
- Follow the trade lifecycle and ensure proper execution, settlement and booking controls.
- Coordinate with external fund administrators responsible for NAV production.
- Liaise with custodians, administrators and other external service providers.
- Participate in the onboarding of new structures, mandates and operational processes.
2. Finance & Corporate Oversight

- Support the finance activities of the group entities located in Luxembourg, France and Switzerland.
- Assist with treasury monitoring and cash management activities.
- Participate in account reconciliations and consolidation processes.
- Monitor management company expenses and operational costs.
- Support budgeting, financial reporting and annual audit processes.
- Coordinate with fiduciaries, accountants and external advisors.
3. Controls & Process Improvement

- Strengthen operational controls and improve the overall reliability of processes.
- Contribute to the automation of manual workflows and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with IT providers and technology teams to identify efficiency gains.
- Support the implementation of tools and process enhancements across the organisation.
Votre profil
We are looking for a hands-on builder with strong technical expertise. The position is designed to offer internal career development opportunities on a mid-term basis.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in middle office, fund administration, accounting, finance operations or a similar environment.
- Good understanding of investment funds and financial operations.
- Strong reconciliation, investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Solid accounting and finance fundamentals.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Fluent French is mandatory with a good command of English.
- Experience with Luxembourg investment funds, management companies or AIFMs is a plus as well as exposure to process automation, VBA, Python or similar tools.
