Our client is a well-established asset management company specializing in strategic real estate opportunities across Western Europe with several billions of assets under management. The firm continues to grow steadily and build on its strong track record of success.

They are seeking a Real Estate Accountant with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. The ideal professional thrives in a dynamic environment, takes ownership of their work, and contributes to the team with precision and reliability.

Vos missions

  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of companies, handling tasks related to budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual accounts in accordance with Lux GAAP, including supporting month-end and year-end processes and posting adjustments.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and filing tax and VAT returns, as well as regulatory reports (e.g. BCL reports), ensuring their compliance.
  • You will assist in reviewing legal documents to facilitate financial reporting.
  • Provide assistance in handling requests from auditors, clients and tax authorities, and contribute to the resolution of internal accounting issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets, cash flow statements and financial forecasts by gathering the necessary data and participating in the financial analysis process.
  • Participate in other finance-related tasks as required.

Votre profil

 

  • Master's Degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years' experience in a similar field. A young graduate could also be considered based on academic profile.
  • Experience with Luxembourg accounting standards (Luxembourg GAAP).
  • Experience in consolidation, VAT and taxation would be an advantage.
  • Strong ability to manage a variety of tasks with a proactive approach, demonstrating a willingness to take on challenging responsibilities and a commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly, prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and French is required.
